Since 1978, The Elizabeth Hospice has been at the forefront of providing exceptional hospice and palliative care, end-of-life home care, and comprehensive counseling options for all ages in San Diego County. The Center for Compassionate Care of The Elizabeth Hospice is currently offering a limited number of internships to Post-Graduate Interns (Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Interns, Professional Clinical Counselor Interns, and Associate Clinical Social Workers.) Therapists help change lives providing individual and group counseling to adults and children as well as those who are coping with a life threatening or serious illness. Training, education, and clinical supervision are provided by our supportive team of licensed professionals.
These are volunteer positions, requiring a 12- 18 month commitment with a minimum of 20 hours/week (minimum of one evening per week).
The geographic service area for this opportunity is North County San Diego (Inland/Coastal), Mission Valley (San Diego - Central) and Temecula/South Riverside.
